Die Zutaten
Omega-3-Fettsäuren gehören zu den langkettigen, mehrfach ungesättigten Fettsäuren. Die beiden wichtigsten, EPA und DHA, kommen vor allem in Krill und Fisch vor. Der Körper kann sie nicht selbst bilden, sie müssen über die Nahrung zugeführt werden. Eine ausgewogene Ernährung mit Omega-3-reichen Lebensmitteln sowie Nahrungsergänzungsmittel können bei der täglichen Bedarfsdeckung helfen.
Natürliche Phospholipide – Phosphatidylcholin und Phosphatidylserin – sind in Krillöl reichlich enthalten.
Astaxanthin ist ein natürliches Carotinoid und gibt dem Krillöl seine rote Farbe.

EPA und DHA tragen zu einer normalen Herzfunktion bei. Die positive Wirkung stellt sich bei einer täglichen Aufnahme von 250 mg EPA und DHA ein.
