The ingredients
Omega-3 fatty acids belong to the long-chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids. The two most important ones, EPA and DHA, are found mainly in krill and fish. The body cannot produce them itself, so they must be obtained through food. A balanced diet with omega-3 rich foods as well as food supplements can help to meet daily requirements.
Natural phospholipids, phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylserine, are abundant in krill oil.
Astaxanthin is a natural carotenoid and gives krill oil its red colour.
Heart:
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
A daily portion of 2 capsules provides 300 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA.

Vita omeXanthin combines krill oil with astaxanthin. Two capsules provide 300 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA as well as 840 mg phospholipids and 4 mg astaxanthin.

Krill oil provides omega-3 fatty acids bound to phospholipids, mainly phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylserine.
Astaxanthin
A natural carotenoid from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. It gives salmon and crustaceans their red colour.
