Joint nutrients for cartilage

So that exercise is fun again!

During periods of increased physical exertion, when tissue building and breakdown are no longer in balance, overuse injuries can occur. Partial or even complete tears of, for example, the Achilles tendon, are a consequence. In this case, supplementing with substances essential for tendon nutrition can alleviate pain and increase resilience. It can also promote healing after tendon and ligament surgery, thus shortening rehabilitation time.

Joint Protection | For people with joint problems

For people with joint problems or who want to protect themselves from them!

Our recommendation:
Vita chondroCurma plus drink - for spa treatment
Vita chondroCurma capsules - for long-term use

Joint nutrients for cartilage, tendons and pain relief

Targeted nutrition of collagen tissue

During periods of increased physical exertion, when tissue building and breakdown are no longer in balance, overuse injuries can occur. Partial or even complete tears of, for example, the Achilles tendon, are a consequence. In this case, supplementing with substances essential for tendon nutrition can alleviate pain and increase resilience. It can also promote healing after tendon and ligament surgery, thus shortening rehabilitation time.

Cartilage regeneration

Articular cartilage consists of four basic substances: collagen, cartilage tissue, chondrocytes (cartilage cells), and water. Glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, and collagen hydrolysate are among the cartilage-building substances. All of these are also natural components of cartilage tissue and their function is supported by vitamins C and E, as well as manganese.

Collagen hydrolysate is a pure protein that provides essential collagenous amino acids for cartilage formation. It is composed of amino acids, most commonly the amino acid combination proline-hydroxyproline-glycine. The cartilage substance found in joints consists largely of collagenous protein. A daily intake of 10 g of collagen hydrolysate is recommended for the renewal and strengthening of collagen structures. Studies confirm the pain-relieving effect of this dosage after just a few weeks.

A beneficial product for connective tissue, and especially for joint cartilage, should also contain the following vital substances:

  • Chondroitin sulfate
  • Glucosamine sulfate
  • Sulfur donor, e.g., in the form of sulfur-containing polysaccharides from algae
  • Trace elements such as manganese and copper

Products containing these ingredients have shown very good tolerability in all studies.

According to the treatment recommendations of the European Association for Rheumatology and Osteoarthritis (EULAR), both glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate receive the rating 1 A (best scientifically proven evidence of efficacy regarding pain relief and positive influence on the course of the disease).

Various clinical studies in the USA and Europe have shown that glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate not only have decongestant and pain-relieving properties for joint problems , but can also restore already damaged cartilage and tendon tissue.

The bioactive form of glucosamine is glucosamine sulfate , which improves synovial viscosity and thus the "joint lubrication." It also stimulates anabolic processes in the articular cartilage , provides long-term pain relief, and can counteract joint space narrowing .

Chondroitin is only bioavailable in its sulfated form as chondroitin sulfate . Chondroitin sulfate is characterized by its high water-binding capacity in cartilage tissue. Chondroitin sulfate should be taken at a dosage of at least 500 mg per day.

Manganese is an essential trace element involved in bone growth and protein synthesis, among other things. It is also important for the body's own production of glucosaminoglucans.

Sulfur acts as a binding agent in connective and supporting tissues, increases water-binding capacity, and is important for collagen synthesis. Sulfate ions inhibit cartilage-degrading enzymes.

Vitamins C and E are essential for the optimal incorporation of amino acids into the ground substance of connective tissue. Without these vitamins, the connective tissue fibrils cannot form a helix, elasticity decreases, and the collagen fibers lose strength.

A joint treatment with these nutrients should last at least 3 to 4 months .

The effect of these cartilage-protecting substances can be further enhanced by highly concentrated fish oil omega-3 fatty acids and natural vitamin E (D-alpha tocopherol).

Sports injuries - Protect your body during high-impact activities

Applications

As a former competitive runner (many marathons, 100 km of Biel, Switzerland), I know how long it can take for sports injuries to heal completely. Athletes often lack the patience to give their bodies enough time. Therefore, every effort should be made to prevent sports injuries from occurring in the first place.

Based on our experience with athletes, we can confirm that Vita Pro-Flex Drink and Vita Collagen Complex have positive effects both preventively and during the healing process. Protect your body during periods of high stress to prevent sports injuries from occurring in the first place.

Protection against sports injuries!

A good supply of collagen hydrolysate
  • increases resilience
  • increases tear resistance
  • provides more stability

The functions of glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate

These are natural, highly concentrated amino sugars that are synthesized by a healthy and youthful organism from food and are essential as building blocks for joint cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bone structures, but also for connective tissue, arterial walls and skin in general.

Conclusion regarding the use of joint nutrients such as collagen hydrolysate, chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine sulfate

  • Building materials for tendons, ligaments and articular cartilage
  • Cartilage-preserving = chondroprotective
  • Joint pain is relieved in the long term.
  • Pain medication can be reduced.
  • Mobility and joint function are significantly improved.
  • Good tolerability
