Broken-down structural protein. It provides the amino acids from which the body forms its own collagen, especially glycine, L-proline and hydroxyproline.

Glucosamine sulphate
A natural amino sugar and component of cartilage tissue. It is obtained from the shells of crustaceans or by fermentation from maize.

Chondroitin sulphate
A glycosaminoglycan and natural component of cartilage tissue.

Turmeric
The rhizome of Curcuma longa (turmeric). It provides curcumin, the characteristic yellow pigment. The processing of the raw material is what matters.

Astaxanthin
A natural carotenoid from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. It gives salmon and crustaceans their red colour.

Silicon from bamboo extract
Bamboo is one of the plants richest in silicon.
